As June comes to a close the ladies of Friday Frivolity are celebrating June brides. June is the mostly popular month for couples getting married and has been for decades. Today I’ll be sharing five of my favorite non-traditional wedding favors in honor of the hottest month for weddings.
5 unique wedding favors
1. M&M boxes
For this wedding favor idea you package up a handful (or more) of M&Ms into a cute box for everyone to take. I love that this can be customized depending on your color scheme and you can even customize messages on the M&Ms. This idea is so flexible. You can even use jars if you’d like the pops of colors.
I used succulents as party favors for my daughter’s first birthday. I love the idea of celebrating life with life and a beautiful plant definitely reflects that idea. This is another customizable one because you can paint the pots any color to match your scheme. You can tie burlap or glue ribbons on the pots. The possibilities are endless.Wedding favors are thank you tokens for your guests so make them special. #wedding Click To Tweet
The inspiration for this idea comes from a relative of mine. When she was married she gave out fans with the couple’s names and wedding date engraved on them. This would be a great practical favor for spring or summer weddings when it can get warm.
Fill glass jars with homemade jams and tie pretty ribbon to attach a tags with your names and wedding dates. Everytime your guest uses the jam they’ll remember your specials day. Ribbons can be used to tie your cool scheme into these favors.
5. Loose leaf tea
Fill cute containers with your favorite loose leaf tea and attach a tag with its info and your wedding date. This makes a thoughtful favor and thank you gift as it will be a delicious treat when they make the tea.
Modern brides are incredibly creative and have so many options for wedding favors these days. Any gift that is practical, personalized or homemade are my favorites. The people you invite to celebrate your special day are carefully chosen based off a loving relationship with you so their favors, which I consider thank you tokens, should reflect that love.
