Hi, my name is Amethyst and I have a matcha problem. I worked at a restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn that experimented with matcha cocktails. That was my introduction to the lovely, super nutritious green powder. Once I had it it became an obsession.

Flash forward to a family outing to Target this weekend. I wasn’t even looking for anything in particular but this caught my eye.
I am seriously overjoyed that I stumbled across Celestial Seasonings Matcha + Green Concentrate. It’s a blend of brewed green tea and traditional matcha powder. What I love most is how few ingredients there are. Water, cane sugar, the green tea blend, natural flavor, plant color extracts and xanthan gum. Mix it with your favorite dairy or non-dairy milk and you’re good to go. Hot or iced it’s amazing. I’m partial to cold drinks and use 8th Continent Soy Milk.
